Dual Enrollment Checklist

  • To be admitted as Dual Enrollment, student must have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or an ACT composite of 21.
  • Students must present minimum ACT sub-scores to enroll in certain college level courses as stated in the college catalog: {Example: ENGL 1010, student must have both an English sub score of 18 and Reading sub score of 19} or have a 3.0 high school GPA
  • Student must complete English 1010 (Comp I) with a passing grade or present valid Advanced Placement (AP) scores to WSCC in order to proceed to English 1020 (Comp II).
  • Textbook/supplies and/or access codes are in addition to tuition/fees amount and vary depending on the course(s) being taken.
  • Grades are assigned using the WSCC grading scale per course syllabus. Final grades are distributed to the high school Counseling Office to be reviewed and weighted accordingly by the guidance counselor.
  • Students must maintain a cumulative 2.0 college GPA to continue eligibility with the Dual Enrollment Grant each semester.
